¨ General Objectives

Master of Public Administration Program (2021 edition) aims to produce graduates with the following qualifications:

  • To be a leader of organizations, communities, and societies eager to explore new knowledge and keep pace with the changing world.
  • To be able to analyze and isolate obstacles, problems, and challenges of the organization, community, and society, and be able to seek solutions for solutions and sustainable development.
  • To be able to apply digital technology to solve problems and improve the quality of public services effectively and efficiently.
  • To have a positive attitude towards cultural diversity and ideas that differ from oneself, in politics, economy, and society.
  • To be a person with virtue, ethics, and selflessness as a public service provider. It is committed to self-improvement, organizational, social, creative, and out-of-the-box thinking that is based on social responsibility.

¨ Behavioral Objectives

The MPA’s program learning outcomes (PLOs) are defined by the world-class standard of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) as follows:

  • PLO1: The competency of theory, research, and application of advanced knowledge in public affairs management in the digital age.
  • PLO2: The competency of advanced analysis and presentation for decision making, problem solving, and public service.
  • PLO3: The competency of morality and ethics for public affairs management
  • PLO4: The competency of management and application of digital innovation within, inter, and outside the organization.
  • PLO5: The competency of verbal skill, writing skill, and digital media in the world of diversity.

¨  Earn a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.  

¨  Foreign students should be approved by the Curriculum Administration Committee.


þ Program Characteristics

From the summary of the overall evaluation of MPA (Academic Year 2019), it was found that the curriculum has the following strengths:

¨         The professors in charge of the curriculum are highly qualified, have held academic positions, and have a strong history of performance. In addition, the curriculum encourages and develops instructors who are in charge of the curriculum.

¨         Graduates are accepted by employers at a high level (4.68) and can produce quality academic papers which can be published at national and international levels.

The strength of the Master of Public Administration Program (2021 edition) is the integration of the theory and rules of public administration and public affairs with the principles and tools of computer science and information technology. The goals are to enable graduates to apply new digital technology for knowledge development in public administration, boost the efficiency of organizational management, and provide public service.

Graduates will be qualified to work as lecturers, scholars, researchers, or executives in a variety of fields, including public organizations, research organizations, or others involved in public affairs at the local, national, and international levels.
